Green Planet Eco-Consultant (Pvt) Ltd (GPEC) is an independent company offering high quality technical services required in the field of environmental conservation and management sector for both public and private sector organizations.

Established in 2008 by a group of young and experienced professionals, GPEC pride itself for its significant contribution to most of the landmark development projects in the recent years. GPEC was not driven by a purely profit making motive, but an intention to share talent and experience with the wider respective communities and make an impactful contribution towards the sustainability in every sphere.

The organization offers environmentally sound technical support and in with the National and International laws. GPEC works with government sector agencies, Non-Government Organizations (National and International),International Funding Agencies , Private Sector, and Community Based Organizations individuals both locally and internationally.

The uniqueness of GPEC is the key professionals who had made significant contributions in the formulating, legalizing and implementing environmental regulations and policies in Sri Lanka.

The Company offers a wide array of environmental consulting services including;

The Company also carries out comprehensive Coastal Resources Management project designing, environmental education, training and capacity building programs.

In addition, GPEC handling the responsibility of preparation of land use maps, zoning plans and preparation of mini atlas by using advanced techniques of Geographic Information System (GIS) and Remote Sensing (RMS).

Apart from undertaking full responsibility of designing and implementing projects in the above fields, GPEC provides logistics support to individuals as well as national and international organizations in designing and conducting short/long term projects, programs and providing technical expertise with high degree of standards and human resources inputs at every level.
